Buckle like a pro in 3 steps

Most buckle problems come from order not strength. Use this sequence to get locked in without numb feet.

The sequence

  1. Instep - hold the heel down with firm but not crushing tension.

  2. Toes next - seat the foot flat in the heel pocket.

  3. Cuff and strap - support the shin and keep the upper quiet.

Micro adjust tips

  • Aim to close to the second or third notch.

  • If buckles pop, tighten the ladder one hole or add a click of micro adjust.

  • If toes go numb, ease the lower buckles and check for sock folds.

On snow test
Ski a top to bottom run. If buckles stay shut and comfort is good, you are set. Check over time or in temperature changes, you may need to re-set the buckles.
